MULTISENSORY APPROACH LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION

for Beginners

We are offering this training because we want to help parents to help their child to start learning how to read, write and spell efficiently

 

either to save time and money or to have fun and strengthen their bond with their child - a positive effect on a child's attitude towards reading and his ability to read!

 

 

This training is designed for parents with a child who have not internalized the sounds and word structures and who want to help their child to start his journey towards becoming literate.

 

It introduces parents to our Multisensory Structured Approach Language Instruction for Beginners and gives them the knowledge, resources, and activities they need to help their child start learning to read, write (handwriting) and spell at their convenience

 

Who should register?

  • Parents and/or guardians who  would like to learn how to teach their loved ones to start learning to read, write and spell

 

What are the requirements?

  • Patient

  • Empathetic

  • To read the materials before the training - we will send these materials via the Internet

 

What is included?

  • 8 hours of lecture, teaching demonstration, participant practice/planning/demonstration, and questions and answers

  • Our Engaging Minds: Learning to Read Workbook

  • Make and Take Sound Cards and Word Cards for Beginners    

 

What will the participants learn?

  • Basic information about reading, spelling, and reading comprehension difficulties

  • How the Language System works: Five Essential Components of the Language System

  • Keywords to remember the sounds for beginners

  • How to help your child internalize the sounds for fluent reading and spelling

  • How to introduce and teach sight words

  • How to improve your child's dexterity and manuscript/cursive handwriting skills

  • How to correct and praise your child when s/he makes a mistake or progress in his learning skills                

 

Refund and cancellation policy:

  • Multisensory Reading Clinic will issue a 100% refund for training canceled by the clinic. Multisensory Reading Clinic will notify registrants 48 hours prior to the training start time.

  • If a registrant cancels the training within one calendar month notice, a refund or credit will be issued minus the $50 administrative fee

  • If a registrant cancels with less than 48 hours notice before the training/session/appointment/consultation or does not show up, no refund and/or credit will be issued

  • The above policies apply for pre-registered series of training/consultations/appointments.

 

Available Option:

  • One-to-one consultation after the initial training for feedback, lessons' review, and/or ongoing training
