100% Success Multisensory Reading & Spelling Program
100% Success Literacy Intervention, remediation & Prevention
Your child MUST have a psychological evaluation that indicates he has dyslexia, a learning disability, or a problem learning to read with the result of his reading level. It is also ideal to have another psychological evaluation after your child is done with his remediation with us so that you can compare his reading level before and after our literacy intervention.
Also, not all psychologists can diagnose dyslexia and not everyone can learn how to read. We will know if your child can learn to read during our telephone interview and/or his first reading evaluation. If he cannot learn to read, you will receive a 100% refund of your child's reading assessment service fee.
We guarantee that your child will start learning to read and spell known words and even words he has not seen within the given lessons during his 15 initial sessions, but there is NO GUARANTEE how many sessions he needs, to reach his appropriate grade level.
Our individualized Multisensory Reading & Spelling Program is based on your child's capacity to learn. We cannot introduce concepts to your child more than he can handle or else, he will 'meltdown' and the duration of the therapeutic tutoring program varies and it depends on several factors:
Degree of your child's language difficulty: mild or severe
Has other disabilities and/or disorders in addition to dyslexia: i.e. ADHD, autism, etc.
Attendance: how often your child has sessions with us and how long
The 'gap' between your child's reading level and his peers; i.e. he is in grade five with a reading level of grade one
His independent work: substantial practice at home of the lessons learned is one of the most important aspects of the program to reach his appropriate grade level and the more the student practice, the better and the faster to close the gap between his peers.
We are giving parents the opportunity to borrow materials from the more than 100, 000 very structured and fluency word cards as well as the digital copies of our very structured workbooks and worksheets that we have created to practice at home in order to speed up the process and reinforce his learning.
The parents need to know that we teach the English language step-by-step as it is necessary for a long-term success. Besides, the previous lessons are linked to the next lessons. We, therefore, do not offer a "band-aid solution" therapeutic tutoring service because it would not and could not help your child to become a lifelong independent learner - our ultimate goal!
Also, learning to read takes several years through formal schooling with approximately 180 hours of instruction for each grade level, for students without learning disabilities. The concepts of our Multisensory Reading & Spelling Program is based on regular schools from kindergarten until grade three for reading, and until high school for spelling. Depending on your child's reading level, it could be impossible to reach his appropriate reading and spelling level within a few sessions.
If someone tells you that he has a reading method with a quicker approach in teaching your child to fluently and accurately read and spell, consider it as a "red flag," because there is no WAY to guarantee a time frame.
Finally, with close to a million English words and counting from different sources: Greek, German, Latin, French with their own rules, strategies and techniques to read and spell, there is no such thing as quick-fix literacy intervention, let alone for individuals with a specific disability called dyslexia.
