At least one-third of the students in each class are struggling to read, spell, and comprehend; their problems start in kindergarten and grade one!

Kindergarten and grade one are the most critical part of the students’ academic years – these are the stages where they should learn the foundations for learning to read and spell correctly and if they cannot learn these skills the proper way, they are at risk for failure and will fall further behind and eventually they will hate school and quit school- these drop out students in highschool are among them
