The importance of teaching the syllables for reading and spelling success: What is closed syllable?

A syllable is a word or part of a word that is organized around a vowel or a vowel team made by one push of breath and the English language has six syllable types. Teaching the students to recognize the syllable types and how to divide them correctly in longer printed words are very important for students to learn so that they can read words more accurately and fluently and can help them learn to spell correctly and efficiently.
