If your first grader still cannot read, she is at risk for failure and will fall further behind!

If your first grader still cannot read, he cannot catch up and he is at risk for failure and will fall further behind!

Kindergarten and grade one are the most critical part of the students’ academic years – these are the stages where they should learn the foundation for learning to read.

At this time, your struggling child should be able to read and spell simple decodable words such as zim, vid, cot, bug and ped – if she cannot read these words, she is at much greater risk for school failure and she will fall further behind if you would not seek help as soon as possible.

Once behind in reading, she might not be able to catch up to grade level unless she receives expert instruction that is individualized and intensive – five days a week, but it is very costly financially and psychologically.
