Their future, their life: the cost of struggling children failing to read well!

Updated: Apr 9, 2021

Reading is the most important skill for success in school, society, and in life and if our children fail to read well, it will cost them their future, their life and they will also be a burden to society... for life!

In the United States alone, according to the International Dyslexia Association, (1999) illiterate people represent:

75 percent of the unemployed

1/3 of mothers receiving aid to families with dependent children

85 percent of the juveniles who appear in court

60 percent of prison inmates

Do you think our country, particularly our province is better than them? Absolutely not! Our Ministry of Education Jean-Francois Roberge does not care, because he only cares for his career! We need to advocate the future of our children.
